The Lagos State government has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Senukon Olufunmi Ajose-Harrison as the substantive Director-General of the Lagos State Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC) Magodo.
Ajose-Harrison became the Acting Director-General of the centre in May following the retirement of his predecessor, Mrs. Regina Olubunmi Fabamwo.
A statement by the Communication Department of the Centre described Ajose-Harrison as a seasoned human resource management professional and consummate capacity building expert. He was an alumnus of the Universities of Ibadan and Lagos where he obtained both the Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Sociology and Master of Industrial and Labour Relations (MILR) respectively.
He joined the services of the Lagos State government in 1997 as pioneer Head of Planning and Research at the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC) Magodo. He rose through the ranks and became Director of Planning and Research providing leadership for the centre’s corporate planning and research including training needs analysis, post-training impact assessments and publications, until his appointment as Acting Director-General by the state government in May 2017.
