The authorities of Obafemi Awolowo University, (OAU) Ile-Ife in Osun state have said it has no plan to increase tuition fees in the institution at the moment and cautioned students to desist from spreading unfounded rumour.
The Public Relations Officer of the University, Mr Abiodun Olanrewaju in a statement on Sunday debunked the rumour that the management of the institution was planning to increase tuition fees next session.
He explained that the authorities of the University have no intention whatsoever to introduce new tuition or increase any fees. The PRO said the rumour is outrightly unfounded and mischievous.
