Mark Collier is new Sigma Pension Chairman

The Board of Sigma Pensions has announced the appointment of Mr. Mark Collier as the new Independent Non-Executive Chairman following the retirement of the previous Chairman, Alhaji Rasaki Oladejo who held this position since 2005. 

Mark Collier’s appointment has come at a time of the implementation of the organisation’s strategic business objective for 2020 which heralds a firm outlook for business growth and transformation.

Mark Collier has been a Non-Executive Board member of the company for over two years, and his appointment as Chairman provides continuity in the newly restructured Board of the company as it seeks to build and take advantage of new and developing opportunities.

Mark is a highly experienced Non-Executive Director, entrepreneur and business leader with an extensive international track record in both developing and building winning financial services companies. He has a rare mix of business, strategic, sales and marketing, people and financial management skills.

As a Non- Executive Director, he serves on the Boards of both publicly quoted and privately held financial services companies in India, South Africa, Nigeria, Indonesia and up until recently, Brazil. 

To these Boards he brings his depth of management and corporate governance expertise as well as his experience as a Lead Independent Director, Chairman of Remuneration, Nomination, and Risk Committees as well as membership of Audit Committees of Alexander Forbes.
