Yabatech marks 70th anniversary

The Rector, Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech), Dr. Kudirat Ladipo, has disclosed plans by the institution to host its 70th anniversary programme and convocation ceremony for 9,021 graduating students.

At a pre-convocation briefing in Lagos, the rector said the graduating students comprise 2,560 in different courses for Higher National Diploma (HND) and 6,461 for National Diploma (ND).

Dr Ladipo said in line with the institution’s status as a foremost technological citadel of learning, the convocation guest lecturer, Prof. Emeka Eusebius Epuh would be speaking on the topic, ‘Repositioning Science and Technological Education in Nigeria for Global relevance.’
