The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) said it has restored the transmission of 20 megawatts (MW) of electricity supply at the Alagbon substation in Lagos State after a transformer was gutted by fire recently.

The spokesperson, Ndidi Mbah, in a statement said the burnt 66MVA transformer for its 312/33KV transformer has been isolated as the 33KV feeder has been connected to another redundant transformer in the substation to restore supply to the feeder of Eko Distribution Company (DisCo).
