1985 law graduates give Saratu Shafii merits award

The Nigerian Law school (class of 1985) has honoured  Hajiya  Saratu  Shafii nee Mohammed,  Director -Incorporated Trustees Department  Corporate Affairs Commission(CAC) with its 2015 merit award for distinguishing  herself in her chosen career.
The award ceremony held in Abuja was attended by 1985 law graduates of Nigerian Law School. The occasion was also used to celebrate the Alma mata 30 years anniversary of their call to bar.
Born in Jos, Plateau state in 1962; she was called to the Bar in 1985 and began her working career at Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Abuja in 1992 as a Litigation Officer and rose to the rank of Director in 2012.
She belongs to a number of professional bodies among which are: International Bar Association, Nigeria Bar Association, FIDA and FOMWAN.
Her hobbies include meeting people, travelling, mediation, reading and writing. Among her writings is a novel called Dazzle, a work of fiction which won the Delta fiction Award of 1997.
