ACF: Deal with those scuttling fight against B/ Haram

The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has urged the military and other security agencies not to spare anyone caught trying to undermine its effort against insurgency.
The Nigerian Army had through its Acting Director of Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, alerted on plans by some people to scuttle the fight against insurgency.
ACF National Publicity Secretary, Muhammad Ibrahim, in a statement yesterday described such plans as disturbing, considering the efforts being made to end the menace.
“It is callous, wicked and unfortunate that some prominent individuals place their personal benefits above national interests, the daily killing of innocent people and destruction of property as a result of the insurgency in the past six years”, he said and urged the military to thoroughly investigate such activities.
He added that the ACF would support the military on lawful actions against elders and politicians who undermine the counter-insurgency efforts.
