Family of former finance minister Olu Falae who was kidnapped by yet to be identified persons from his farm on Monday says they were prepared to negotiate his freedom.
First son of Falae, Dapo Falae told Daily Trust correspondent on Tuesday that the family was ready to negotiate his father’s release. Falae also a former Secretary to the Government of the federation turned 77 the day he was abducted.
The kidnappers reportedly demanded N100 million on Monday to free the septuagenarian.
He said: “the amount they (kidnappers) demanded is laughable be we can’t wait for government”.
