Ekiti PDP wants ICPC to probe Fayemi

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State has asked the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to explain why it did not include former governor of the state, Dr Kayode Fayemi, among former public officers, it is probing.
The party said it provided “enough petitions and facts to assist the ICPC and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and other anti-graft agencies to assist them in getting to the root of financial misconduct perpetrated by Fayemi while in office”.
Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Jackson Adebayo, said in a statement in Ado-Ekiti, that he was aware of what he called deluge of petitions against the former governor with the anti-graft bodies, adding that it could still furnish the commission and others with more facts if necessary.
