Kwara poly to exhibit products

Rector of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Alh. Mas’ud Elelu, has disclosed plans to showcase products manufactured by the institution.
He said that will help to create awareness and boost patronage. Elelu, who took journalists round the institution, said, “we will exhibit our products at national conferences to attract customers because we cannot display them in the market as a result of lack of funds to secure necessary accreditation from organisations such as Standard Organisation (SON), NAFDAC and other regulatory agencies”.
“An open day programme is in the pipeline, where we will invite big factories within and outside Kwara State to come and see our products and chose any one they would want the institution to produce for them at a price cheaper than what they can get elsewhere,” the Rector said.
