The national chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Alhaji Abdulkadir Abdulsalam, has bereted the federal government for allegedly disregarding court order on the travails of former National Security Adviser (NSA) retired Col. Sambo Dasuki.
Abdulkadir said the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration was becoming “lawless and insensitive.”
He told reporters yesterday in Abuja that the refusal of the Department of State Service (DSS) to vacate the premises of Dasuki was a clear sign of lawlessness that portends danger for the nation’s democracy.
“Whatever is the reason behind the disregard for a court order regarding the former NSA spells danger.
It is dangerous for democracy. If the government starts dis-respecting court judgments, then there is a problem. What Buhari is doing is not new. Buhari is a dictator. Under him, Nigeria is drifting into a lawless state where things are done with impunity,” he said.
