The national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has warned that the party will not condone imposition of candidates.
The PDP national chairman, who led the PDP National Working Committee (NWC), yesterday, on its first meeting in Delta State, noted that imposition of candidates had been the old order of impunity in the PDP that must not be allowed again.
He said, “We need the PVC to effect a change in 2019. Power will no longer reside at Wadata, but with the people; let the people come together and make their choice. The other party may have the security apparatus and INEC, but the people’s power is greater.
“We are here to engage in consultation with the governors and members of the National Assembly and state assemblies. As for those of you who are seeking to return, if you are still viable, let your people return you.”
