My 8-point agenda will transform Katsina- Ida

Ida is vying for the PDP ticket in Katsina to contest as governor in the 2015 elections and has recently unveiled an 8-point agenda which includes strengthening religious values, leadership by example, security of lives and property, empowerment of youth through employment, agriculture, education, health and restoration of the civil service.
The aspirant in an interview with newsmen said the 8-point agenda contains the solutions to the problems of the state, adding that he believes, if implemented, it would bring a turnaround to the economic fortunes of the state.
He said the areas were carefully selected for special attention as they touch directly on what affects the masses in the state and assured that setting the agenda has gone beyond mere statement as the modalities for achieving them have also been worked out.
“These are not mere things on paper, they are workable programme and we have already worked out the modalities towards achieving them, so I can assure you that Katsina State would experience a new lease of life under my administration if elected,” he stated.
