The governor made this known when he received PDP stakeholders at his Peter Sarki road residence in Minna.
He also reiterated that he has no anointed candidate despite the fact that eight persons had officially approached him for blessing with a view to succeed him.
Governor Aliyu maintained that PDP zoning in the state had been paying very well as it had stabilised political arrangement in the state which made it possible for the relative peace being enjoyed.
The governor however expressed displeasure with some members of the party who, he said, failed to mobilise the electorate for the party’s candidate during the August 30 Niger East senatorial by-election.
He warned: “The time has come to tell the home truth without hiding anything any longer. We will plead with the PDP members who we have offended in the course of our governance but we will not condole any act capable of jeopardising the chances of our party from any of our members.”
Responding, the zonal chairman of PDP Zone B, Mamman Gambo, said despite the anti-party politics exhibited by some party members during the last senatorial election, the party won.
