“Placing posters all over the place is not allowed – it’s illegal. I would like to appeal to politicians and political parties, there is a lot of vacant boards that they can hire and put their campaigns on instead of just placing posters on public buildings. Sometimes they block traffic signs. It’s not allowed. It’s not normal,” he stated.
The director said DOAS monitoring and enforcement units which go out Tuesdays and Thursdays will remove those signage that are illegally placed.
