A statement by the party’s national publicity secretary, Barrister Ebere Ifendu, said a purported press conference addressed by former members of the party was counterproductive and of no effect whatsoever.
The statement said: The “impostors”, Salisu Mohammed and Lawson Osagie, who allegedly addressed newsmen at the Labour House on November 14, 2014, were tried and found guilty of anti-party activities and were expelled from the party at its last national convention held in Akure, Ondo State on October 11, 2014.
