ASSBIFI made the call at its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held in Benin, Edo state at the weekend.
In a communique, participants frowned at increasing level of insecurity in the Northern part of the country particularly in the North-Eastern states of Yobe and Adamawa and Borno.
The association also expressed disgust over last Friday’s bombing of a mosque in Kano during a Jumat service which claimed many lives of worshippers.
