Fulani not behind attacks in North Central – Miyetti Allah

“The allegations cannot hold water as there are no concrete facts about the attacks that can be linked to Fulani herdsmen,” he said.
He added that security agents deployed to Plateau and Benue States had not made any appreciable arrest of the perpetrators of the attacks to determine who they actually are.
Bodejo said rather, violent acts were organized by some politicians to cause confusion for their selfish interests and called on security agencies to fish out those people behind the acts.
“Let the security agents that are working bring out the truth of the matter, not saying that it is Fulani that attacked. Soldiers are deployed there, were they sleeping when the people were coming to attack the natives or they were not on duty very day?” he asked, adding, “The best solution to solve the problem between Fulani and the natives is for the government to enter the bushes and look for the original Fulani. They should assemble Fulani and Berom, who can’t speak English to be brought and speak on their problems because they are the real people that are affected. We want government to listen to them, all these meetings with agents is not the solution to this heinous crime. There are several peace meetings held here in Plateau State, but for lack of sincerity from the politicians, I have never attended anyone because government refused to invite the real affected people”.
