Police intercept stolen cash from micro finance bank

A team of policemen from the Lion Building police station acted under the order of the Area Commander, Area A. Deputy police spokesman in Lagos ASP Ozoani Damassus  said the police were still on the trail of fleeing members of the gang. He said early yesterday they got a distress message  from the bank soon after the robbers left.
“They succeeded in tracking down the robbers to a place at Isolo. In a shootout with the police two of the robbers were wounded and arrested with all the stolen cash, valuables and an SUV utility vehicle they used”, he added.
