Re: Goje Working to Destroy APC in Gombe

To buttress my observations, I stand to say that in the history of Nigerian politics, there was never a time when Sen. Muhammad Danjuma Goje contested an election against Hon. Khamis Ahmed Mailantarki, as he wrongly claimed in the interview. Sen. Goje contested for Member, State House of Assembly in the former Bauchi State in 1983 and he also contested for senate and won the election against Sen. Sa’idu Umar Kumo during the Abacha era in 1997.
Sen. Goje contested against the sitting governor and won the election in 2003 and 2007. He served as minister, governor and currently, senator. That qualifies him to be a leader of our great party, not only in Gombe State but in all the North-Eastern states. These are some of the criteria the national interim EXCOs of our great party considered important before handing the mantle of leadership and responsibility of the APC to Sen. Goje.
What value did Hon. Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki add to the party, since its registration as a merged political party on 1st July 2013 to date? We in the APC should appreciate and acknowledge the fact that, Sen. Muhammad Danjuma Goje succeeded in bringing in eminent personalities like Hon. Usman Bayero Nafada, former  Deputy Speaker; Mallam Murtala Aliyu former Minister of State for Power; Alhaji Umaru Kwairanga, Hajiya Aishatu Jibir Dukku former Minister for Education; Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya, Alhaji Barde; Hon. Dasuki Jalo, ALGON President. He works tirelessly to reconcile his differences with people like Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu, Sen. Babagoro Mu’azu, Engr. Sa’ad Abdullahi, Alhaji Gambo Magaji Earst while ANPP BOT Chairman, Alhaji Abba Sarkin Dabe former ANPP State Chairman and many more.
Goje is currently working round the clock in an intensive consultation to bring in more senators and members of House of Representatives into APC’s fold. Upon all the aforementioned efforts and successes recorded by Sen. Muhammad Danjuma Goje, how then would  Hon. Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki, claim that Goje is working to destroy the APC in Gombe State. What an injustice?
What more does Hon. Mailantarki want? Why is he (Khamisu) claiming the ownership of the party? Why he wasted so much time and energy to nominate the interim leadership of state mobilization committee? The answers to the above questions are simple. The mission and vision of our great party (APC) is to build a strong, reliable and vibrant opposition political party in the whole of the Federation. Thus, Gombe will not be an exception.
Mailantarki is persuading an illusion because he has already lost grip. Gombe people regret his person, an arrogant and non performing politician. When Sen. Muhammadu Danjuma Goje and his ten counterparts defected to the APC, the PDP led administration in the country where jittery and having sleepless nights. Thus, they engaged the services of weak and naive politicians’ like Ibrahim Shekarau, Dahaltu Bafarawa and their cohorts such as Mailantarki to create faction within APC in their various states. Unfortunately for Mailantarki, however, the PDP is genius in its political game. They are selective in whom to give special consideration. A politician who is descending the political ladder to eventually crash by 2015 is in a state of mental disequilibrium. My advice to Mailantarki is, concentrate on keeping your house in order.
Finally Mailantarki, you proclaimed to have majority in Gombe. Question: Why do you find it hard to visit your constituency, let alone even spend just a day consulting with those who voted you into the National Assembly?
