Gold, a media consultant, who resides at No. 22, Blantyre Street, Wuse 2, Abuja, was also charged with driving without driver’s license.
Police prosecutor, Cpl. Monday Akor, told the court that the accused committed the act on September 16 and he was reported at the Maitama Police Station on December 23 by Mrs Prima Clumulu of Asokoro, Abuja.
Akor told the court that the accused drove his Nissan Almeria Car with Registration number LND 866 AR, dangerously and damaged the KIA Cerato car with registration number LSD 163 AN, belonging to Clumulu.
The prosecutor said that the offences contravened the provisions of Section 29(1), Section 28 and Section 7(1) of the Road Traffic Act (RTA).
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges and his counsel, Mr Chinedu Obielu, applied for his bail.
Senior Magistrate Aminu Eri granted him bail in the sum of N20, 000 with one reasonable surety in the like sum.
He adjourned the case to February 10, 2014 for commencement of hearing. (NAN)
