The governor embarked on visits to first class chiefs on Christmas day and retired to his Kafanchan governor’s lodge late night. Yesterday, the governor had discussions with different Christian cle-rics including the Catholic Bishop of Kafanchan, Bishop Joseph Bagobiri, before add-ressing political groups in a programme his security men barred some journalists from covering.
Addressing women and youths, Yero said he was in southern to celebrate the Christmas. “All of us in Kaduna are one and there is the need for us to unite and work for peace,” he said.
