Gunmen abduct Lebanese in Kano

The MC plastic company is said to be one of the surviving producers of plastic materials in the city. At the time of filing this report, the name of the Lebanese was only given as Mr Hassan. Confirming the incident, the state police command spokesman ASP Musa Magaji Majiya said the police were trailing the abductors.
“We are right now trailing them. We are optimistic that we will rescue the victim and reunite him with his family. We are working in conjunction with other security agencies, and this is why we beefed up security throughout the state,” ASP Majiya said. Witnesses said the gunmen trailed the  Lebanese to his office and scared workers with gunshots before forcing him into a waiting car. Our correspondent reports that the police yesterday mounted roadblocks on all the routes linking Kano city with other states. In the same vein, there were other roadblocks within the city.
