FG spends N97bn on Kano projects

The minister who was in Kano weekend to inspect federal projects in the state said the Federal Executive Council (FEC) recently approved the construction of a dual carriageway on the Kano-Katsina road.
He said the state has benefitted a lot in the transformation agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan in the last two years and urged people of the state to support the administration.
Yuguda said the federal government would re-reimburse the money spent by the government after verification of the projects. Senator Bashir Garba Lado who represents Kano Central Senatorial district expressed gratitude to the federal government for approving the contract for the Kano-Katsina road, adding that the construction of a fly over bridge at the Kundila junction and the Kano-Katsina road and other projects in Kano justified their representation at the National Assembly.
