Gov Orji heckled in Aba

Stadium during the closing ceremony of a marathon event organized by Magic FM radio.
 In February this year, the governor was also booed during the lying in state of the late Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu where he reportedly responded by saying, “We are used to this type of noise.”
Although the governor who was expected to attend the event did not come in person, each time his name was mentioned over the public address system the crowd that thronged the stadium jeered and shouted, “No, we don’t want him, no, we don’t want him here.”
When names of politicians like Senator Nkechi Nwaogu and Hon Eziuche Ubani, owner of Magic FM, were mentioned there were thunderous ovations and cheers from the crowd.  The first Aba half marathon was won by Raymond Simon from Kaduna State who went home with the star prize of N250,000.
