Addressing a press conference late Thursday in Kaduna, Makarfi said the letter containing the names of the decampees published in a national daily dated 23rd December, 2013, including his own was meant to discredit him.
“I have been in the PDP and one of its founding members in Kaduna State, if I want to move or leave the party I don’t need people like Umar Gana to be my voice as I can always talk to the good people of Kaduna and the party faithful on my next line action,” he said.
Alhaji Makarfi said Umar Gana, who was the former Kaduna State Coordinator of Goodluck/Sambo Campaign Organization was trying to take advantage of the present situation in the PDP to satisfy his selfish interest.
