“We are actually building the capacity and preparing our volunteers in case of emergencies so that if there are accidents even along the roads in the communities, or there is communal crisis these volunteers could help and give first aid treatment to the victims before they are taken to the hospital, because if there is an emergency and somebody is bleeding severely, this person can lost his life, but if we have this kind of structure at hand in the local communities lives could be saved” he said.

He added that the trainees would be equipped with first aid response kits at the end of at the end of the training.

The Chairman National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Kwanan Dawaki motor park, Alhaji Danladi Baba commended the society for the gesture, assuring that the skills acquired by members of the union would be put to use to save lives in events of emergency.
