Kalu said “Graduate unemployment has reached an emergency situation. Something has to be done fast to save our nation. For starters, I do not think paying them some allowance, no matter how little, would cripple the economy,” he advised in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Emeka Obasi yesterday in Abuja.
He drew attention to the multitude of graduates involved in criminal activities, blaming it on their inability to make ends meet even after securing degrees.
