Presidency condoles Media Trust

Presidential spokesman, Reuben Abati, in a condolence message addressed to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Malam Kabiru Yusuf, yesterday described Mohammed’s death as a rude shock.
Abati said: “I write to commiserate with you and our other colleagues at the Media Trust group of newspapers on the sudden death yesterday of your Managing Editor, Malam Suleiman Ibn Mohammed.
“News of Malam Suleiman’s death came as a rude shock to me, my staff and members of the State House Press Corps some of whom enjoyed an excellent working relationship with him during his days as a reporter on the State House beat.
“We all join you in mourning Malam Suleiman who, by the accounts of all who knew and worked with him, was a superb journalist whose death at the relatively early age of 50 is a great loss to his family, your organization and Nigerian journalism.
“We pray that God Almighty will comfort you and members of his family. May his soul rest in peace.”
