The students, who appeared before the Ogun state House of Assembly on Friday, admitted that the violent demonstration which resulted in the death of one of them was unjustified and asked for forgiveness.
The Deputy Union President, Mr Toyibat Yusuff told the State House of Assembly’s Committee on education investigating the remote and immediate cause/ causes of the riot which resulted into the killing of Mr Tunde Aromasodun, who died from Police bullet.
The School management led by the Provost, Dr Abiodun Ojo and the President of the Students Union, Mr Rotimi Oluwaseun, appeared before the House Committee to give their own account of what happened.
Both parties also admitted that during the riot, the Divisional Police Officer who led other Policemen to quell the riot was seriously beaten by the Students and his car damaged.
