NANS as a disgrace to Nigerian students

I will like to draw the attention of the police, the SSS and other security agencies to what is happening as regards the activities of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS). The security agencies should as a matter of urgency bring these self-acclaimed student ‘leaders’ to book as their students. It should be known that those area boys who are now parading themselves as NANS have never enjoyed the mandate of Nigerian students. They just assemble themselves in a hotel and coronate themselves as leaders of the Nigerian students. Now, there are allegations that  they are busy collecting money from political office-holders, which they only share among themselves. NANS these days is charactised by violence and internal rancour whereby dubious people have turned it into a business venture. They also allowed themselves to be used by dubious politicians.This is breaching the ethics guiding NANS and unbecoming of Nigerian students. Nigerian students must distance themselves from the dirty activities of the fraudstars who parade themselves as NANS because they are not representing Nigerian students. And the security agencies who are responsible for checking crimes must bring these bad eggs to book as their activities are clearly illegal and fraudulent.
