The seven sites include the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, Benue (North Central), Adamawa (North East), Sokoto (North West), Delta (South-South), Abia (South East) and Osun States (South West).

Briefing newsmen in Abuja on the preparation for the forthcoming ISESCO – UNESCO–NOTAP workshop holding this in Abuja, NOTAP’s Director General, Dr Umar Bindir, said the workshop would help Nigeria develop and innovate technology parks in the country.

“The workshop which will be a collaboration between the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ISIESCO), United Nation’s Educational Scientific and Cultural Organistion (UNESCO) and NOTAP, is aimed at promoting the role of science and technology parks with culture of innovation, just as it will seek to stimulate the development of strategies for the evolution of functional science and technology parks in Nigeria,” he said.
