Abayomi is a 1981 Accounting graduate from Yaba College of Technology and 1999 MBA degree in Finance from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. He is a fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants (1996), Associate, Institute of Chartered Accountants (1986), Associate, Nigerian Institute of Management (1986) and Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Taxation (1996).
He was an Executive Director of Finance and Administration with Glanvill Enthoven & Co. Nig. Limited, a subsidiary of Jardine LIoyd Insurance Brokers UK.
The Ekiti-born administrator and accountant is married with children and enjoys reading, travelling, singing and watching movies.
