The League Management Company (LMC) yesterday approved the request from Akwa United for a 24 hours shift in their rescheduled Match Day 11 fixture against Katsina United.
The match earlier rescheduled from March 4 to March 28 will now hold on March 29. Consequently, the Match Day 15 fixture between Nasarawa United and Katsina United scheduled for April 1 will now hold on April 2.
LMC Chief Operating Officer, Salihu Abubakar who communicated the decisions, said the 24 hours differences were to accommodate travel difficulties involving the clubs.
Akwa United are competing in the CAF Confederation Cup and have seen some of their fixtures rescheduled due to continental travel challenges.
Abubakar said all other fixtures remain as scheduled. Plateau United and MFM FC, campaigning in the CAF Champions League would not be part of the regular match day 13 fixtures that holds on Sunday across eight other venues.
