Military chiefs: Minimah hands over to Buratai

Outgoing Chief of Army Staff lieutenant General Kenneth Minimah has handed over to his successor, Major General Tukur Buratai.

The handover ceremony took place at the Army Headquarters in Abuja on Thursday.

President Muhammadu Buhari had fired all the service chiefs on Monday including the National Security Adviser. Their successors were subsequently named same day.
