Youth coalition campaigns for violence-free polls

The move, according to the coalition, is aimed at stemming the  tide of political thuggery across the country.
The National Secretary, Mr Idris Rogo, disclosed this  at the end of a two-day national stakeholders’ workshop on electoral violence in Sokoto at the weekend.
Spokesman North-west youth wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), Mr Paul Sunday, said CAN was part of the nation-wide efforts to ensure that the forthcoming polls were devoid of violence.
He urged youths in the country to shun all acts of violence.
