National Eye Centre workers end 4-month strike

The Medical and Health Workers Association of Nigeria, Senior Staff Association of Teaching Hospitals and Research Institutes and National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives had embarked on an indefinite strike last year over management’s failure to remit their co-operative contributions, union/association’s check-off dues, which according to them amounts to over N90 million and lack of water and electricity in the hospital among complaints.
