Media Officer of the Port Harcourt Refinery Petroleum Company Ltd, Mr Ikenna Okpani, who made the confirmation during the flag-off of the “kero-correct’’ campaign by NNPC in Calabar, said it translates to 1500 trucks.
Okpani said the campaign will last for three months and is to ensure availability of kerosene at the government regulated price of N50 per litre.
According to him, the 60 million litres of kerosene would be distributed to the 37 NNPC mega stations, 12 floating mega stations and 524 NNPC affiliate stations across the country over the period of three months,” he said.
He said the campaign was an initiative of the federal government to get kerosene to consumers at government approved price of N50 per litre.
