Five other honourary special advisers were appointed including Professor Emeritus Umaru Shehu (Primary Health Care), former PDP national chairman, Chief Audu Ogbe (industries), Eng. Ibrahim Ali (agriculture), spokesman of the Borno Elders Forum, Dr. Bulama Mali Gubio (education) and Professor Dili Dogo (health).
Among the 46 advisers are Isa Umar Gusau from Zamfara State and Chief Kester Ogualili from eastern Nigeria.
A release signed by the governor said the rest of the appointees were picked from the 27 local government areas of the state.
Shettima sacked all his commissioners and advisers mid-last year at the height of a misunderstanding between him and former governor Sheriff following allegations that some of the aides had dual loyalty.
He reappointed some of the commissioners in December.
