Accreditation commences for Taraba supplementary polls

Accreditation has commenced in some of the poling units in Taraba State where the supplementary governorship election is holding today.

At the Polling Unit 019, situated at Mohammed Tukur Primary School, Jalingo, accreditation began at 8.00 am with good turnout of voters.

Accreditation is said to have commenced in some of the affected polling units in Bali and Takum Local government area.

At the polling units visited, card readers are in use and functional.

Our correspondent reports that there is adequate security presence at the polling units as well as at strategic points within the town where the elections are holding.
