Reports from Kwara State indicate that counting of votes started at most of the polling units in Ilorin, the capital city and other parts of the state.
There was low turn out of voters across the state as accreditation ended even before the official time of 12:00 p.m. INEC ad-hoc staff had more time to relax unlike during the last election.
Voting, however, commenced in earnest in most of the polling units since few people turned up for election. However, counting of votes has started in some polling units while in other polling units, voting is being concluded as at the time of filing this report.
