At last, Shettima cast vote following arrival of ballot papers

 

Governor Kashim Shettima cast his vote around 4.24pm following the arrival of ballot papers.

The governor, who was accredited  around 10am had to go back to his the Government House until this evening before he went back to cast his vote.

The delay was as a result of late reprint of ballot papers by INEC after it was discovered that the logo of the Labour Party (LP) was omitted.

Our correspondent reports that many council areas are yet to get their ballot papers, and there are speculations that voting may be extended to tomorrow.
