“The Presidential election has come and gone but like I always say Jigawa people are one. We are brothers and sisters in this state. We will continue to live with each other no matter what. I have always caution on wild celebration and mocking of opponents. It is ungodly. We hope to win this election by the grace of God because no politician goes to election and hope to lose.”

He commended INEC for the improvement in the electoral process adding that Nigeria can now beat its chest as having come of age in organising election in the world.
