2 shot, as youths disrupt election materials distribution

Two people were shot when youths blocked distribution of electoral materials in Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State.  INEC officer of Danmusa, Itachu Godwin said all was set for the exercise “but PDP thugs have been blocking efforts to distribute election materials”.

He alleged that the thugs were engaged to snatch ballot papers and attack electoral officials.

He said the INEC state office has asked them to hold on till sanity is restored. So far, only two wards have received electoral materials.
