Findings from various polling units across Kwara state indicate that the card reader is working properly without much hitches unlike the last elections where most of the card readers crashed prompting delay in the commencement of accreditation.
An election observer who spoke with our correspondent said, “The card reader this time, the rate at which it is working this time around, I think it is successful. So far, from my findings, only one card reader out of the two brought to Adewole Staff School at Adewole ward in Ilorin West Local Government malfunctioned and it was replaced almost immediately”.
As at the time of filing this report, there were no issues with the card readers in most polling units monitored in Ilorin metropolis.
Reports from Oro Ago indicate that accreditation is going on peacefully with the card readers functioning properly in all the polling units.
