Mbu ties fate to election success

Controversial Assistant Inspector General of Police in Lagos and Ogun Joseph Mbu has said that his career in the force is largely depended on the success of the elections in the zone.

He made the remark during a visit to Lagos INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner Akin Orebiyi and charged police officers to exhibit diligence and professionalism in the supervision of the election.

He commended citizens of Lagos and Ogun for their orderly conduct, adding that his men would be in the vanguard of ensuring maximum protection during the ongoing election.
