Accreditation started late in polling units in Nasarawa State.
In Lafia, the state capital, INEC officers arrived some minutes to 10am and settled in after making some inquiries and trying to organise would-be voters into coordinated queues.
At most of the polling units our reporter visited, the late arrival of the officials caused anxious voters rushing to form queues leading to chaos as people aimed for vantage positions.
The situation was no difference in GRA I, and Government College, all in Angwam Rimi Ward, and Angwan Jaba polling unit of Jigwada Ward, all in Keffi.
Security personnel attached to the polling units did all in their power to maintain order as voters fell in line.
