The natives of the FCT under the aegis of Coalition of Abuja Indigenous Association (CAIA), have berated politicians in the territory over their lack of strategy ahead of the 2019 general elections.
The spokesman of the group, Yunusa Ahmadu Yusuf, while speaking with newsmen in Abuja, yesterday, said there were clear indications that the natives were in need of a political leadership that would have a plan on how to address the marginalization of the natives.
He said the natives had been observing events keenly and they were disappointed that none of their representatives was unfolding a strategy that would end the marginalization of their people in the nearest future.
“From our national public officers down to the local leaders, they appear to be content with self- aggrandizement and suppression of the masses,” he added.
