I didn’t accuse Saraki of corruption – Sen Abu Ibrahim

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Police Affairs, Senator Abu Ibrahim (APC, Katsina South), yesterday, said he did not accuse the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, of corruption as reported by a Kaduna-based newsmagazine.
Ibrahim, a ranking senator, also denied calling a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu, a lion.

Denying the report headlined “Tinubu is a lion”, in a statement, Senator Ibrahim said, “I have never granted such interview published by ‘National News Enquiry’ and I did not share the same opinions and sentiments purported to have been expressed in the said publication.

“I want to emphasise that I am completely embarrassed to have been associated with the opinion and comment contained in the said publication,” he said.
