What a carry on! Motorist transports live animals outside car

Chinese citizens returning to work after their holiday often load up their cars and suitcases with their favourite local foods to remind them of home. This year, some motorists have shown their creative side when transporting chickens, ducks and other animals that they plan to eat later. Above is  a car being driven on a highway with a live chicken taped to the boot lid and two live ducks hanging inside plastic bags in Guangdong Province. Internet users were amused by this photo. “Won’t the birds lose all their feathers after the highway trip?” one person commented.
